1. Rental Requirements
The renter must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license for a minimum of one (1) year. Different age requirements may apply to certain vehicle categories.
2. Driving License
Driving licenses issued by European Union countries are accepted. Drivers from non-EU countries may be required to present an International Driving Permit (IDP), in accordance with applicable regulations.
3. Vehicle Collection and Return
The vehicle is delivered in good working condition and must be returned in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.
The renter is required to return the vehicle on the agreed date and time. Late returns may result in additional charges.
4. Fuel Policy
The vehicle is provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same fuel level. Failure to do so may result in a refueling charge.
5. Insurance
Basic Insurance
All vehicles are covered by the mandatory Third-Party Liability Insurance, in accordance with Greek law.
Full Insurance (Optional or Included Where Applicable)
Full insurance covers most types of damage to the vehicle without additional cost to the renter. The following are not covered:
Damage to the underside of the vehicle.
Damage to the roof of the vehicle.
Damage to the interior of the vehicle.
Loss or damage of vehicle keys.
Damage caused by negligence or violation of traffic regulations.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Use of the vehicle on non-paved roads where prohibited.
6. Additional Driver
An additional driver may be added only if declared at the time of signing the rental agreement and is subject to an extra charge.
7. Fines and Traffic Violations
The renter is solely responsible for all fines, traffic violations, parking tickets, and any other penalties incurred during the rental period.
8. Accidents and Breakdowns
In the event of an accident or breakdown, the renter must immediately notify the rental company and, where required, the relevant authorities.
Failure to report an incident promptly may result in the loss of insurance coverage.
9. Prohibited Uses
The following are strictly prohibited:
Subletting or re-renting the vehicle.
Participation in races, competitions, or speed tests.
Use of the vehicle for transporting hazardous materials.
Carrying passengers or cargo beyond the manufacturer's specifications.
Taking the vehicle outside the island of Kos without prior written authorization from the company.
10. Cancellations
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.
11. Personal Data Protection
The company processes customers' personal data solely for the purpose of executing the rental agreement and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Greek law. Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Kos, Greece.
